White Teas
|
tea buds are plucked only a few days each spring when the tea plants are re-emerging from their winter dormancy. The buds are covered by silver down giving a whitish appearance. Once picked the leaves are air dried without being rolled or fired. This minimal process yields a delicate fresh leaf with antioxidants and low caffeine.
